The front two rows of targets (birds and foxes) snap down when hit. A bell rings with every hit, and the rifle recoils with each shot. After 10 shots the game resets all targets. Twenty shots in total and the game registers the player's marksmanship (Rifleman, Marksman, Sharpshooter, Expert) by the number of hits out of twenty.
